This means our first priority is to the care, safety and privacy of the patients we serve. Our second priority is to the people who provide this service; our employees and volunteers.
CCMH works with over 200 volunteers who provide services for the CCMH Auxiliary and the Auxiliary Gift Shop, the Community Cares Patient Transportation Program, the Good Samaritan Center Thrift Shop, LifeServe Blood Center, the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), and more! CCMH volunteers provide tremendous benefit within our community, and county, by serving people in need of medical care, and by raising funds to support the healthcare services offered by CCMH and other entities. In various ways, hundreds of hours are dedicated by CCMH volunteers to improve the lives of our local citizens.
Providing quality care, while respecting the rights of patients, should be the driving force behind any employee or volunteer’s decisions and actions. We are committed to providing services that meet and exceed patient expectations. CCMH volunteers will deliver services with compassion, dignity, and respect for everyone in their care. All patients, clients and customers will be respected, with their needs and desires as our primary consideration. CCMH will provide services in a manner that does not discriminate against any person because of age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, ability to pay, or for any other reason prohibited by Federal and State laws and regulations.
