Cardiac Rehab

The Cardiac Rehab program offered at Crawford County Memorial Hospital is a complete course geared toward changing lifestyles. The main component of Cardiac Rehab is an exercise program aimed at getting the heart muscle back in shape after a heart attack, stent placement, bypass surgery or valve replacements. Participants also receive patient education regarding heart disease and risk factors. Additionally, a consultation with CCMH's registered dietician to cover dietary concerns is included in the program.

The program is 36 sessions, spanned over 12 weeks. Participants meet three times a week for about one hour in length. The program is housed inside the beautiful Rehab Services Department, conveniently located just inside the main entrance of the hospital. Pulmonary Rehab

Crawford County Memorial Hospital offers a 36-session Pulmonary Rehab program for patients who have chronic lung conditions. The program teaches patients exercises to help them strengthen muscles used in breathing so they can breathe more efficiently. It also teaches them more in depth about how the lungs work, understanding medication, diet, and environmental factors.
