CCMH Announces Dr. Bradley Lister Will Begin Practice in June
The Board of Trustees of Crawford County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Dr. Bradley Lister, Orthopedic Surgeon, will begin his Orthopedic Surgery practice at CCMH on Monday, June 3, 2013. Dr. Lister most recently practiced Orthopedic Surgery in Marshalltown, Iowa, before coming to Denison. He is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed his Orthopedic Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Lister began as a solo orthopedic surgery practitioner in La Junta, Colorado, before joining group practices in Colorado and Iowa.

Dr. Lister’s practice will include inpatient and outpatient orthopedic procedures, an orthopedic clinic, and coverage of orthopedic injuries in the Emergency Room at CCMH. The practice will address the care of diseases and injuries to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments which includes hips, knees, shoulder, and extremities. Additional services provided by Dr. Lister will include both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat related musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.

The care and comfort of my patients is my first priority by providing needed orthopedic services in a convenient and comfortable environment in the new hospital”, said Dr. Lister.
Dr. Lister will begin seeing patients on Monday, June 3 in his office at CCMH. His normal office hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those wishing to make appointments may call 265‐2700 after May 27. A public reception for Dr. Lister will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Meeting Room D at CCMH.
In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Lister also has a B.A. in Bio‐Electrical Engineering from Harvard University, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado. A member of the Iowa Orthopedic Society, Dr. Lister is also a member of the Mid‐States Orthopedic Society, the Iowa Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
