HMH Announces New OB-GYN Clinic and Surgical Services

In conjunction with Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH), Horn Memorial Hospital (HMH) of Ida Grove is pleased to announce that Dr. Karl Hasik, Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, will begin providing an OB-GYN outpatient clinic the first Wednesday of each month beginning in January 2013. Dr. Hasik’s clinic at HMH will provide not only an OB-GYN outpatient clinic but also gynecology surgical services.

“My practice is a general OB-GYN practice, but I have always had special interests”, noted Dr. Hasik. “I am certified in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, both minimally invasive approaches to gynecology surgery.” Dr. Hasik’s surgical services will include performing all the noninvasive approaches to hysterectomy, removal of ovaries, and the medical and surgical treatment of female urinary incontinence.

“I look forward to the opportunity to serve the women of Ida Grove and the surrounding areas with my skill set in OB-GYN. I am grateful for the chance to share my ability,” Dr. Hasik said.

Bill Bruce, CCMH CEO, said, “It is our pleasure to partner with Horn Memorial Hospital to be able to provide OB-GYN services for the women of the Ida Grove area. We look forward to finding other ways our institutions can collaborate to offer the best and most convenient health services for our patients.”
