(Denison, IA) – The Board of Trustees of Crawford County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Leah Trautman, DNP, will begin her practice at CCMH Medical Clinic on November 18, 2020. She is Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing.

Trautman received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Nurse Practitioner from Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha. Previously, she had received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from Nebraska Methodist College as well.

Trautman completed her graduate training and preceptorships in urgent care, family practice, cardiology, nephrology, and obstetrics and gynecology. She also has experience as an intensive care staff and lead nurse, as well as nursing in intensive care and pediatric psychiatry units.

“I’m really looking forward to offering health care services to the people of Crawford County and surrounding areas,” Trautman said. “As the delivery of services continues to change, I’m pleased to be able to offer the one-on-one, personal relationship that patients expect from their medical provider. I want to be a partner with my patients for their improved health.”

Trautman plans to see patients of all ages and genders. Office hours for Trautman will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
