CRAWFORD COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL JOINS NATIONWIDE OBSERVANCE OF NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH DAY ON NOVEMBER 15, 2018
(Denison, IA) – Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is proud to recognize the innovation, quality of care, and dedication of health professionals and volunteers in our community during National Rural Health Day 2018. National Rural Health Day falls on the third Thursday in November each year and recognizes the efforts of those serving the health needs of over 60 million people across the nation.
“National Rural Healthcare Day is an important reminder to all of us,” said Bill Bruce, CCMH President and CEO. “It underscores how important it is to have access to local, quality healthcare that’s affordable.”
Bruce invites local citizens to participate in National Rural Health Day activities to celebrate the “Power of Rural.” CCMH will be participating in NRHD through social media including patient stories and employee videos.
A special website has been established for rural health stakeholders to explore a partnership pledge, showcase individuals and organizations selected as 2018 Community Stars, and provide visitors with a variety of tools, including social media posts to help #PowerofRural trend in outlets such as Twitter and Facebook. The website also shares how rural communities across the country will be celebrating National Rural Health Day.
