ELIZABETH BRANDT, MD IS NOW ELIZABETH B. RANNINGER, MD | DR. RANNIGER ACHIEVES FELLOW DESIGNATION IN PEDIATRICS
(Denison, IA) – Crawford County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce Elizabeth J. Brandt, MD is now Elizabeth B. Ranniger, MD. The name change is a result of her recent marriage to Jake Ranniger of Manning. While her last name has changed, Dr. Ranniger continues to accept new patients as well as see existing patients on the same schedule as before at CCMH.
Elizabeth “Libby” Ranniger, MD, has also achieved the designation as Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Ranniger began her pediatric practice at CCMH in Denison in August 2016.
The FAAP designation may only be used by American Academy of Pediatrics members in good standing who have obtained initial board certification in pediatrics or a surgical specialty board. Physicians who maintain their FAAP designation make an ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and advocacy for children.
Dr. Ranniger’s practice at CCMH focuses on health care for children. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Ranniger is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, IL. Dr. Ranniger is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
