CCMH ANNOUNCES DR. JOSHUA STOREY JOINS EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT MEDICAL STAFF
(Denison, IA) – Joshua Storey, DO will join the emergency department medical staff at Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) on a full-time basis in October 2017. The move was announced by the CCMH Board of Trustees at its monthly meeting on September 25, 2017. Dr. Storey, who is Board Certified in Family Medicine, will join Craig G. Simons, DO, on the Emergency Department staff. Earlier this year, Dr. Simons was hired as a full time Emergency Department physician and Emergency Department (ED) Medical Director at CCMH.
Bill Bruce, CCMH President and CEO commented, “As we continue to restructure the way emergency care is delivered at CCMH, we are very pleased to announce Dr. Storey as a part of our full-time medical staff team. Both Dr. Storey and Dr. Simons have the expertise and experience to provide excellent emergency care to the people of Crawford County and surrounding areas.”
A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Dr. Storey received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from AT Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Eglin Air Force Base Family Medicine Residency program in Florida.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Storey has been assigned to various air force bases around the world providing family medicine and urgent care services as well as serving as the Infection Control Chair for the USAF 39th and 5th Medical Groups, and Clinical Medicine Element Leader for the USAF 65th and 5th Medical Operations Squadron.
