CCMH PLANS EVENT TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
In recognition of National Volunteer Week (April 23 – 29), CCMH is hosting an informational “Come and Go Reception” from 3-5pm on Thursday, April 27 for anyone wishing to learn about the volunteer opportunities available at CCMH. Anyone interested in volunteering is encouraged to join in the reception, or contact Tiffany Schneider, CCMH Volunteer Services Director, at 712-265-2520.
There are several benefits to volunteering, such as meeting new people, offering personal skills and caring to those in need, staying active after retirement, being surrounded by grateful and friendly people, and having fun! Volunteers provide many extra services that help supplement the basic and essential functions of CCMH staff. As a direct result of our volunteer services, the quality of care that is provided to CCMH patients and visitors is greatly improved.
CCMH volunteers provide nearly 12,000 hours of volunteer work each year! CCMH is extremely grateful for all volunteers. When you see a volunteer at school, at church, or at community events, thank them for donating to others their most precious asset: their time!
