Community Education/Outreach
CCMH provides many classes and resources on a variety of health topics. Examples of classes available to the public include:
- Babysitting class (Offered 2 to 3 times yearly)
- Community CPR/1st Aid (Offered every other month)
- Smoking Cessation (Call 265-2513 to arrange a class time)
- Pre-Natal Classes (Call 265-2613 for more information)
- Child Car Seat Safety (Several certified car seat inspectors on staff at CCMH)
- Diabetes Self-Management
Additionally, health education programs can be tailored to meet a group’s needs. Examples of topics include:
- Nutrition
- Exercise for seniors
- Injury prevention
- Additional topics as requested
