Administrative Director. Full Time Exempt/Salaried. Director for Patient & Family Services. Coordinates and directs resources to assure review of services, integration of services and evaluation of health status improvement. Acts as Ombudsman to assist patient’s and family’s access and understanding of service delivery. Works in collaboration with internal and external health team members to ensure safe, quality and cost effective service. Candidates required to have a current RN license in the State of Iowa, a BSN in Nursing, and 3-5 years’ patient care experience (hospital based, integrated inpatient, outpatient and clinic services setting preferred).

Admissions Clerk. Part-time/hourly position. Primarily evening hours with rotating weekends and holidays. Candidate’s primary responsibility will include patient registration facility wide. Excellent multi-tasking, communication and customer service skills are required. One (1) year health care experience preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant - Two (2) positions available. One position is full-time night shifts and rotating weekends. One position requires rotating 12-hour shifts and weekends. Candidate must be a certified nursing assistant under the State of Iowa and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Certified Nursing Assistant. Per diem/as needed and rotating weekends. Candidate must be a certified nursing assistant under the State of Iowa and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Clinic Receptionist. Casual part-time - One to two years of experience in a medical office is preferred but not a prerequisite. Excellent phone and customer service skills are essential. Requires an ability to multi-task and prioritize. Excellent organizational, computer, and typing skills necessary.

Clinical Information Specialist. Full-time (40 hours per week) hourly position. Responsible for participating in the planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and support of clinical applications at CCMH. Will work collaboratively with end users to implement solutions that support CCMH’s patient care standards. Prefer a LPN or RN with 2 – 3 years’ clinical experience. Require 2 – 3 years’ experience with clinical information systems, a knowledge of hospital/clinic environment.

Dietary Manager. Full Time Exempt/Salaried. Directs and supervises personnel in food preparation, food distribution, and kitchen sanitation. Purchases quality food and supplies within budget. Responsible for all staffing of the Dietary Department, including hiring orientation, scheduling, performance appraisals, in-servicing, and assisting Dietitian with clinical QAPI program. Works together with Administrative Team on special projects and caters special functions. Certified Dietary Manager status is required (completed 270 hour Dietary Manager Course can be completed within eighteen months of employment). Two years previous food preparation in a hospital, nursing home, or school.

Human Resources Director. Full time position. Competitive salary and excellent benefits provided. Position is responsible for daily operations and oversight of hospital’s human resources department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in an organized labor relations environment is desired but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities are a must

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field with a Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated successful experience in human resources management in a hospital setting
  • PHR/SPHR certification, or equivalent is required.

Medical/Surgical Unit Manager. Full Time 40 hours/week, Exempt/Salaried. Administers, directs and coordinates activities of patient care on the Medical/Surgical Unit and is responsible for the recommendation, development and implementation of policies and procedures. Responsible for the direction and evaluation of patient care deliveries. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of the nursing process, basic budget understanding, knowledge of disciplinary process, effective verbal and written communication, and must demonstrate leadership abilities and management skills. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current licensure as an RN in the state of Iowa or compact state. BSN degree preferred. Minimum of two years acute hospital experience mandatory with leadership experience preferred.

Obstetrics Unit Manager. Full time position. Exempt/Salaried. Current RN license for the state of Iowa or compact state. BSN preferred. Three to five years of OB experience (L&D and post-partum) required. Previous supervisor and/or manager experience preferred. NRP, ACLS, PALS, and STABLE certifications required. Will be responsible for the daily operations of an active OB department which includes the development and implementation of policies and procedures and keeping the Directory of Nursing informed of both progress and potential problems. Responsible for regulatory and standard of care compliance of the OB department. Responsible for the direct management of approximately 8.0 FTE’s. Good communication skills essential. Must be willing to fulfill the role of a staff OB RN on a regular basis. Must be willing to assist with patient care on the Medical/Surgical Unit if needed.

Paramedic Specialist. Full-time. Must have EMT or Paramedic certification from the State of Iowa. Experience preferred. Must also be comfortable assisting in the E.R. within their scope of practice.

RN – Emergency Department. Full-time (36 hours/week, 72 hours/pay period) working primarily night shift. Provides nursing care to emergency room patients and outpatients in a safe and professional manner, utilizing established policies and procedures, physician orders, protocols, and standards of care. ACLS, PALS, BLS and TNCC are required within one (1) years of hire date. ER experience preferred.

RN – OB Unit. Full-time position rotating shifts. Progressive and rapidly growing Obstetrical department. RN with previous OB and/or Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Must have strong critical thinking skills and able and willing to work as part of a team. On call requirements. Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts with shift rotation with other staff members. Provides direct patient care in the Labor / Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn and Antepartum setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including, but not limited to: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. ACLS, PALS, BLS and NRP required but will provide if needed. Must be able to work independently.
