Clinic Receptionist

On call receptionist to fill in for vacations and days off for receptionists at Main Campus/City Center.  Needs to be flexible with schedule.  Candidate must have excellent computer, customer service and telephone skills.  Ability to multi-task and be very organized.  Attention to detail is necessary.



Position Type: PRN


Clinic RN-Triage/Float

Assist with clinic nursing triage-refill medications, preauthorizations for surgical procedures, medications, and radiology procedures.  Floating and working with providers and other nursing staff to make sure clinic flow is running smoothly.  Assist with rooming patients, procedures, and vaccinations.  Excellent organizational skills, ability to take initiative on their own to perform tasks, and good computer skills.  1-2 years of clinic nursing experience preferred, but not necessary.

Medical Technologist/MLT

Full-time position (80 hours/per pay period) with on-call and holiday coverage required. Candidate must be Board Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, HEW or other certification program. Flexible work schedule including rotating shifts weekends, holidays, and on-call. One to three years of previous clinical laboratory experience preferred but not required.

Paramedic Specialist

Must have EMT or Paramedic certification from the State of Iowa. Experience preferred. Must also be comfortable assisting in the E.R. within their scope of practice.

RN - OB Unit

Full-time position rotating shifts. Progressive and rapidly growing Obstetrical department. RN with previous OB and/or Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Must have strong critical thinking skills and able and willing to work as part of a team. On call requirements. Must be willing to work 12 hour

shifts with shift rotation with other staff members. Provides direct patient care in the Labor / Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn and Antepartum setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including, but not

limited to: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes

in condition or response to treatment. ACLS, PALS, BLS and NRP required but will provide if needed. Must be able to work independently.
