RN - Charge Nurse - Medical Unit - (Full-time, rotating between 12 and 8 hour shifts; working day, evening and night shifts when needed) Candidate must have current IA license. Previous hospital experience required. Must have good critical thinking skills and willing to start orientation to Charge Nurse role shortly after hire.
Certified Nurse Assistant - (Full-time, rotating day and evening shifts) Candidate must have CNA certification and be proficient on a computer. Assists with patient care and also functions as Unit Secretary. Prefer candidate with previous experience.
Admitting Clerk - (Part-time) Candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient with computers. Prefer candidate with medical office experience and working knowledge of medical terminology.
RN - Medical Unit - (Full-time, rotating day / evening shifts, occasional night shifts) Candidate must have a current IA license. Prefer Med/Surg experience.
RN - Emergency Room - (Full-time - 12 hour shifts) Candidate must have current IA license and 2-3 years RN experience, preferably in the Emergency Room. BLS and ACLS certification required.
MT or Medical Lab Tech - (Full-time, Days, Four 10 hour shifts) Candidate must have an Associate Degree (MLT) or a Bachelors Degree (MT). Must be able to share call.
EMT- Paramedic Specialist - (Full-time or Part-time, 12 hour shifts rotating between day and night. First call must respond within 5 minutes.) Candidates must have valid Iowa certification. Prefer 1-2 years experience. Must be comfortable assisting in our ER Department within your scope of practice.
RN - Surgery - (Full-time) Candidate must have current RN license. Prefer candidate with a minimum of 2 years operating room experience. Must be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing environment. Sharing call duties required.
Director of Human Resources - (Full-time) Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Personnel Management or related field. A minimum of 10 years experience in a human resource related role with at least 3 years experience in a HR management position in the healthcare industry preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of human resource practices and principles, employment law and compliance needed. Union experience helpful. PHR or SPHR preferred.
Housekeeper - (32 hrs a week) Flexible hours and rotating weekends. Must be able to read and write, familiar with cleaning chemicals and mixtures, and with floor care equipment. High school graduate or equivalent. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing areas of the hospital.
Janitor - (Full-time,3 pm - 11:30 pm) High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of six months experience in housekeeping preferred. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing areas of the hospital and general floor care.
