Dr. David J. Wright, a native of Des Moines, Iowa, joined Family Practice
and Surgical Specialists on July 15, 1999. Dr. David J. Wright received
his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry at Central College in Pella, Iowa and
Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and
Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des
Moines. Dr. Wright is a board certified in General Surgery. He is versed
in all aspects of general surgery including major abdominal surgery,
laparoscopic surgery, breast cancer surgery, hernia repair, as well as
gynecologic surgery (hysterectomy, D & C, tubal ligation, etc.) and
endoscopy (stomach and colon scopes). He also performs minor office
surgery in his practice including small lesion removal and vasectomy. Dr.
Wright and his wife Stephanie have one daughter and one son and live in
Denison.
